Plateforme collaborative collective | un écosystème optimal, Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité

About

The City of Montreal has entrusted the Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité (CQCM) with the mandate to mobilize partners from the cooperative, social economy and start-up sectors in service to emerging initiatives seeking to structure themselves into a collective collaborative platform. This is made possible through the  program called “Accélerer l’entrepreneuriat ”.

Through this project, the City of Montreal wishes to create interconnections between start-ups, partners in the cooperative and social economy, as well as young entrepreneurs in various networks. The objective of these connections is to increase the sharing of innovations, accelerate growth, and ensure effective collaboration for the benefit of all stakeholders.

The project aims to raise awareness and bring together collective entrepreneurial ecosystems and start-ups in order to set up the optimal conditions for the development of collective collaborative platforms.

By June 2021, the project will have enabled at least 3 collective start-ups to be housed in a local incubator, a further  5 to be accompanied and 6 others to obtain a grant or innovative funding from the Caisse d'économie solidaire Desjardins. We also hope that the fruit of our collective work will leave project promoters with access to redesigned services, tailored to the nature of their project, and partnerships that bring the world of start-ups and the social and cooperative economy closer together.
